HOW TO APPLY:
Application form along with brochure can be obtained personally on cash payment of Rs.120 from any of the participating University. To get the Application form by post Deputy Registrar (CEEB), Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-110067, along with a valid bank draft of Rs.180 payable to “Jawaharlal Nehru University”. The request should accompany a self addressed unstamped envelope of the size of 28x20cms indicating clearly, “Request for Application form for MSc. Biotechnology OR M.Sc (Agri.)/MVSc Biotechnology OR M.Tech Biotechnology".

The last date of issue of application form by post is March 7, 2008 and in person March 17, 2008. The last date for submission of filled in application is March 17, 2008. M.Tech BIOTECHNOLOGY
JNU conducts the Combined Biotechnology entrance exam for M.Tech admission to Ana University, Chennai and West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata. Candidates should be graduates in any of B.Tech/BE in Chemical Engineering/ Biogeochemical Engineering, Industrial Biotechnology Biomedical Engineering, B. Pharma, Chemical Technology, Life Sciences, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Biophysics, Microbial Genetics and Bioinformatics.
Candidates who are appearing for the final exam in 2008 are also eligible to apply. But candidates who have passed the qualifying examination prior to 2006 are not eligible to take exam for any category
