ADMISSION NOTICE

DIPLOMA IN TOOL AND DIE MAKING

Applications are invited in the prescribed form from intending candidates for admission to Four Years Diploma in Tool & Die Making course for the Session 2008-2009 for August 2008. The course is recognized by AICTE and Sate Council for Technical Education & Training, Orissa.

Eligibility: Matriculation or equivalent examinations form a recognized Board with Mathematics & Science (Physics or Chemistry or both) with minimum 50% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST) in aggregate.

Age: Between 15 to 18 years (born in between 02.08-1990 to 01-08-1993) (Gen.) Relaxable to 21 years (born in between 02-08-1987 to 01-08-1983 for SC/ST candidates) as on 01-08-2008.

Selection: Selection will be made trough admission tests. The Preliminary multiple choice type test will be on 06-07-2008 (Sunday) at 9.00 am. And final written test will be held on 07-07-2008 (Monday) at 9.00 am. for short listed candidates of Preliminary Test. Candidates awaiting result of 10th can also appear for written test. However the result should be available eat the time of admission.

How to Apply:
Application form along with prospectus can be obtained in person from the administrative office by paying Rs.400/- (Rs.150/- in case of SC/ST candidates) in cash or send demand draft of Rs.445/- (Rs.195 for SC/ST candidates) in favour of “Central Tool Room & Training Centre, Bhubaneswar" to get the prospectus by Speed Post/Courier. DD should accompany self addressed envelop of size 20cm x 25cm. SC/ST candidates should send proof of caste.
