You may then ask – what then is this course? The fact is that this is a course which ill predominantly mould you to become a Safety Officer. As a safety officer your job is to prevent accidents, either in the industry or at construction sites. There is no fire and fire fighting in a Safety officers job. Their job is to prevent accidents by constantly educating the co-workers the hazards involved while working at industrial premises or while working gat heights. There is no fire and fire fighting in this career. Close to around 85% of their students who have passed out form their institute are currently working gas safety officers. It is a highly respected position in the society. In the Industry or at Construction companies it is a very important position and they generally report directly to the M.D. It is a highly paid ob. In India the start salary is between Rs.10000/- to Rs.150000/- per month. Abroad it ranges form Rs.40000/- to Rs.60000/- per months. Such salaries are unheard of or an SSC / Plus 2 in any other career. That is the main attraction of this course.
