Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, Kolkata, invites application for admission to Three Year Post-Graduate Diploma Course (Full-Time) for the session 2008-2011 in the following specializations:

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent.

SPECIALISATION:
AUDIOGRAPHY

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate from a recognized university in any stream. Physics as on of the subjects at the Higher Secondary level (i.e. 10+2 level).

Medium of Instruction: ENGLISH

Total Number of Seats: 40 (10 per discipline out of which 2 seats are earmarked for foreign students)

Reservation for SC/ST candidates as per extant GOI Rules.
Provision for persons with disabilities as per extant GOI Rules.


ADMISSION TEST
The admission test will comprise a Written Examination to be held at different centers, followed by an Interactive Orientation Test & Viva-Voce for the short listed candidates only to be held at the Institute. THE WRITTEN EXAMINATION WILL BE HELD ON 03-08-2008. (SUNDAY) IN THE FOLLOWING CENTRES:

HOW TO APPLY
Prospectus containing Application Forms and other details may be obtained by post on written request, accompanied by a processing fee by Crossed Demand Draft of Rs.1200/- (Rs.700/- for SC/ST candidates on submission of valid certificate) in favour of “Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, Kolkata” payable at Kolkata. Application Forms can be downloaded from the website www.srfti.gov.in and submitted in print copy along with due processing fee in Demand Draft.

The Prospectus may also be obtained personally form the Institute on any working day between 11 am to 4 pm between 19-05-2008 to 28-06-2008 against due payment of processing fee in Demand Draft or cash.
